My interest in photography started
late when I first traveled to Antiga in 1984. My first camera was
a second hand Canon AE1. Suprised by the results my interest was
hooked, my old camera has traveled with me ever since. Now in mothballs
in drawer it still reminds me of my first experiences with film
photography. Technology advanced and while working as an underwater
cameraman for both stills and video in the Red Sea I experienced
specialist underwater cameras from Nikon, Sea & Sea, Sony. The
image on the left was taken on a beach dive south of Safaga where
I was testing re-breathers for use in underwater photography. Having
been fotunate enough to be paid to combine the two greatest hobbies
I have I consider myself extremely lucky. With the birth of our
first child my wife and I decided to return to England. Here I trained
in the developing field of web design and updating my photographic
skills to include product imaging. No longer using film but learning
the new art of digital photography. Now after the birth of our second
child we live in the Saronic Island's region of Greece. Here I combine
design, photography and web sites to earn my living. |

These two images of me were taken while
documenting damage caused by boats and divers to the 2nd World War
transport ship 'Thistlegorm' attacked by German bombers believing
it to be a troop carrier, it was infact laiden with equipment like
locomotives, trucks and motorbikes. |
